10 Ways to Love

A few days ago, my wife printed out something she found on the Internet, and put it on our fridge door. It was about love, and how to treat others. I choose to share this

If you have a gas car, and you accidentally put diesel on the gas tank, you can probably drive a little bit, and then your car stops. Just what happened when the US President visited Israel recently. Someone had put the wrong fuel on the limousine tank, and it suddenly stopped.

I am a believer in an almighty God, and if I am going to fit in in His kingdom, his New Jerusalem, it should be important for me to be…let us say…compatible.  So, the following biblical principles should be something I should keep in mind:

  • Listen without interrupting. (Proverbs 18)
  • Speak without accusing. (James 1:19)
  • Give without sparing. (Proverbs 21:26)
  • Pray without ceasing. (Colossians 1:19)
  • Answer without arguing. (Proverbs 17:1)
  • Share without pretending. (Ephesians 4:15)
  • Enjoy without complaint. (Philippians 2:14)
  • Trust without wavering. (I Corinthians 13:7)
  • Forgive without punishing. (Colossians 3:13)
  • Promise without forgetting. (Proverbs 13:12)

Even if you do not yourself consider yourself a religious person, it is still many good points in the list above…

God bless you all,
